All merchandise sold and shipped by servmart.org may be returned either to a store or by mail within 30 days of receiving it, unless otherwise noted below.
An item must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging, so we recommend you keep your packaging and receipt for at least the first 30 days after purchase.
If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for your order and any applicable shipping and handling charges. If you ordered the wrong item you may return it at your expense in the original packaging within 30 days of receiving it. Most store items can be exchanged or refunded with a receipt within 30 days of purchase.
To return an item to a Servmart store: Bring or send the item, receipt and all original packing materials and accessories to any Peninsula Services Servmart store. If you do not have the original receipt, we will research the item to ensure that it was purchased from Servmart. If we cannot determine a purchase date, the item will be deemed non-returnable.
Return Guidelines:
Merchandise must be returned in resalable condition, and accompanied by the original invoice. A 15 percent restocking fee applies to all special order items not normally carried in our catalog, electronics, furniture and computer supplies such as ink and toner unless the item was found to be damaged upon receipt. Ink and toner cartridges are non-returnable if the original packaging has been opened unless the item is damaged or defective.
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please email Customer Service with the following information and an associate will be happy to help you:
1. Order number for the item
2. Invoice number
3. Date of arrival
4. Condition of item at time of arrival
5. Detailed explanation of the issue
If you need to return a product that might fall into the hazardous materials category, please email Customer Service for assistance.
Oversize furniture may be returned to a store or by freight shipping in the original container with all packing materials intact and in resalable condition. Under some circumstances, you may be charged for return shipping. To return an item by freight, please email Customer Service for assistance. They will also be able to inform you of any return shipping costs.
Unopened items may be returned for refund or exchange within 30 days. Opened items with receipt may be exchanged for same item or credited towards one of equal or greater value within 30 days. Defective items may be exchanged for the same item or credit given towards one of equal or greater value.
Depending on the reason for the return, you may be responsible for paying the return shipping charge.
